Metallic inks on black.
The screen shifted on the first layer so I added a second layer on top creating a layered effect. The ink is also light in some areas. It was not my intention but I'm liking the imperfections. Definitely one of a kind!
Limited edition screen-printed tee shirt featuring a select series of manhole cover prints from 12 different cities across the U.S. made over the past decade. I took the original art, shrunk it down in size, flipped the orientation so the text reads as it would on the street, arranged them in a specific order, and created the screen.
I mix the ink directly on the screen itself so each shirt is unique.
The shirts are Bella + Canvas 3001c Unisex Jersey 100% cotton.
