The original art is a relief print made directly from a manhole cover in Seattle, WA. It's part of a street print series collected over the last 10 years by artist and designer Russell Muits with Storm Print City.
The actual cover on the street is painted with block ink and then transferred by hand to canvas. A small reproduction is printed and then transferred back to the stone. The result is a mini version of the original art with the letters reading exactly how you would see it on the street.
This natural stone tile measures 4 x 4 inches. It has a clear matte coat to protect it from heat or moisture and the bottom is lined with cork to prevent scratches on glass or furniture. Please allow 10-14 days for production and delivery as each tile is made to order.
